Prayer Shawl

The prayer shawl ministry at FBC Eupora began in February 2005.  Members of the church hand crochet and knit the prayer shawls and attach a small cross to every shawl.  Each shawl is prayed over for a specific person who is experiencing a health issue.   The shawl is then given to that person as a symbol of God’s love for them.  Prayer shawls are also stitched for babies that are dedicated to the Lord at FBC Eupora.  To date over 75 prayer shawls have been presented in the name of Jesus.  The prayer shawl ministry is always looking for new stitchers.  Meetings are the first Sunday of the month at 4 p.m.  For those who prefer to stitch at home, there is a prayer shawl chest in the Golden Circle classroom where shawls can be placed.
